Kane finished the 2018 World Cup as top scorer with six goals and will be looking to lead England to their first major international trophy since 1966.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has said he is ready to peak for England in the knockout stages of the World Cup after scoring a brace in a north London derby win over Arsenal.

Kane's goals helped Spurs to a 2-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium, and the England captain said he is now in good form heading into the tournament in Russia.

"I'm feeling good, I'm feeling sharp," Kane said. "I'm scoring goals, I'm creating chances, and I'm feeling confident.

"I know I can do better, but I'm happy with where I'm at right now. I'm just going to keep working hard and try to improve.

Kane has been in impressive form for Tottenham this season, scoring 24 goals in all competitions. He will be hoping to continue his good form for England in the World Cup, where he will be looking to lead the Three Lions to their first major international trophy since 1966.
